This second layer of security is added to protect against fraud and phishing so that only you have access to your account. Two-factor authentication leverages something you know – your password - and something you have - your phone – to enable access to your dashboard from a new or unrecognised device. Two-factor authentication will prompt you to select a verified phone number on your account to receive either a text message or automated phone call when logging into your dashboard from a new or unrecognised device.
