HomeAway provides integrated Property Managers 2 payments methods for travellers payments :
  • Credit Card is default payment method and is entered by traveller on HomeAway site.
  • In some cases, HomeAway may allow you to configure your settings so no payment information is entered by travellers - this requires approval. In this case, a traveller would not enter any payment information on the HomeAway site and you would send Payment instructions to travellers after their submitted their reservation request (e.g. in the confirmation e-mail).
It is important to note that as an  Integrated Property Manager you set your own Payment schedules and are responsible for processing a traveller's payment. As an Integrated Property Manager you will also have access to the traveller’s credit card details and can charge them at any time, dependent on payment schedule you have adopted.
